General Technical Specifications

 

• Motors are 3 phase Standard TEFC, Flame Proof, Non-Sparking or Explosion-Proof type depending on the service zone.

 

• Gearboxes are Worm, Helical, Planetary, Cyclo, Heli-Worm or Bevel- Helical type based on the nature of duty. 

 

• Bearings are of Taper Roller, Spherical Roller or Deep Groove Ball type depending on the service conditions.

 

• Material of construction of shaft, impeller assembly and other wetted parts will be in AISI304, AISI316, AISI316L, AISI304L, AISI317, AISI317L, AISI904L,  MSRL, Teflon Coated or MSFRP to suit various process conditions. Chemical Analysis Report will be submitted.

 

• Shaft sealing by Mechanical seal, stuffing box or Lip seal based on process control requirements.

 

• Impellers operating at speed range of more than 300 rpm will be dynamically balanced.

 

• Painting of all un-machined Carbon steel parts by two coats of Epoxy Primer followed by two coats of Epoxy Finish paint after surface preparation by Sand blasting upto white metal as per Sa 2.5 Standard.  DFT/Coat – 40 microns.
